About
The GYROKINESIS® method is a unique technique that blends together exercises similar to that of yoga, pilates, and dance but utilizes circular and wave-like movement sequences to free the spine and hips. The benefits of the practice include increased range of motion, improved functional strength and flexibility, better coordination, alleviating tension, and increasing vital energy. This practice is done standing, sitting, and on the mat to support your experience of feeling nuanced freedom in your body and mind.

- An open mind with a willingness to explore
- Water - to drink at any time
- A small towel
- Optional Yoga or exercise mat - there are some mats available to use at the church
- Comfortable stretchy clothing, similar to what you might wear for a zumba class
